Michelle McCool, Natalya, Kelly Kelly, Maria, Cherry, Victoria and Lena Yada chat about WWE.coms exclusive, summer-long series. Then, Maria, Victoria and Maryse share their Fourth of July plans with our readers. Summer Skin Is Here July is heating up with todays official launch of WWE.coms Summer Skin. To celebrate Independence Day, WWEs All-American Girl, Michelle McCool, kicks off a summer full of sexy, sunny Divas on WWE.com. Im excited for Summer Skin. The shoot was so much fun, McCool told Diva Dish. We shot it out in San Diego a couple of weeks ago in all these different locations the botanical gardens, around incredible architecture, in little ponds, near water fountains. We have all these hot shots that made for some good pictures. Accompanying the all-new photo galleries are exclusive WWE.com videos that delve even deeper into the Summer Skin Divas. I think our fans always like seeing the pictures, but I think deep down, they like getting into our personal lives, as well, which is what I want to give them, the SmackDown Diva explained. Our fans want to know more about us, what makes us unique, our likes, our dislikes, what we were like as kids, and thats the stuff were giving them on these videos. I think theyll really enjoy it. The Summer Skin photo shoot offered the hard-working Natalya, who is in the running for the Divas Championship, a chance to let loose. Summer Skin is absolutely amazing. We have been overseas and working really hard, so it was kind of like a little vacation. Im a Diva who loves to go to the beach, I love the warm weather, I love the sand and the sun, Natalya revealed, noting she was the only Diva offered chocolate-covered strawberries during her shoot. I got to eat chocolate-covered strawberries, in the sand. I felt so pampered, I felt so amazing, and I felt that everybody who was on the beach had all eyes on me, the SmackDown Diva said. As far as when I hit the beaches, when I really let loose, thats me, thats the real deal. So I felt that I could just relax, have fun and embrace the inner Diva in me. Kelly Kelly wore many of her custom-made swimsuits during the Summer Skin shoot, offering our fans a glimpse into her personal style. I am excited about them. Theyre personally made, so all of my ideas were put into those swimsuits. I hope that everyone likes them! the ECW Diva said. The blond bombshell explained that Summer Skin lets our fans see an exclusive, personal look at the Divas outside of the ring. Im really excited because I have a really goofy side. Im a big dork, Kelly Kelly giggled. I have a really outgoing, goofy personality, and I dont think our fans see that, so Im excited for them to see that now. Sure, I am myself out in the ring, but when Im wrestling, its kind of hard to be goofy. Maria told Diva Dish she enjoyed being outside in the sunshine all day during her Summer Skin photo shoot, which was at a lush botanical garden. I had never been to a botanical garden before. There were a lot of really cool plants and bamboo all this wild stuff you wouldnt necessarily see if you were hanging out in Chicago, SmackDowns newest Diva said. It was a lot of fun, its going to turn out really pretty and I think our fans will really enjoy it or at least I hope they do! The fashionista Diva loves being involved in her photo shoots, whether its modeling for Playboy or WWE.coms Summer Skin. Whether Im getting dressed or getting my hair or make up done, I like to have a lot of input on that, Maria said. I think 90 percent of what I wore in Summer Skin was all my stuff, plus all the hair and make up ideas were all mine. Our fans will see a bit more out of me when it comes to that stuff. Cherry admitted to Diva Dish that she was very nervous before her Summer Skin photo shoot, but once she put on her swimsuit and hit the beach, she had a blast. Im just Cherry I dont really know how to model, so they showed me the ropes and how and where to position myself, she said. I saw this one photo where Im coming out of the water, climbing on these rocks, and they showed it to me and I was like, Oh my gosh, thats me! That doesnt look like me, but thats me! It was beautiful. Diva Dish also discovered that the SmackDown Diva is a true beach bum at heart, thanks to growing up near the coast. When I was growing up, my parents had a shore house on the water. When I was younger, Id wake up in the morning and go right out onto the beach, which luckily for my mother, there was a lifeguard right in front of the house, Cherry chucked. I love the water. So to be able to go to a park and shoot around the water was very comforting to me because Ive been around it so much. Surprisingly, Victoria made a new friend during her Summer Skin shoot at a San Diego park. I got to feed a squirrel! Some guy was feeding it peanuts and I asked if I could feed him, too, for the camera. It came right up to me and took the peanut out of my hand, it was really terrifying to be honest with you, but theyre so cute, Victoria said. The SmackDown Diva admitted that our fans might be shocked to learn shes gentle toward animals, but Summer Skin is all about exploring the Divas personalities, after all. I am a lover of nature. It was really a beautiful environment. You can see us having fun. Im not so serious all the time. I can let go, have fun and let my hair down to do a sexy photo shoot. Victoria is not always all kick butt, shes a hotty totty, we like to party! she laughed. Finally, Lena Yada said Summer Skin lets our fans appreciate the hard work that goes into sculpting the Divas beautiful bodies. "Sometimes we hear were too skinny, or were too muscular, were too buff, but were fine-tuned machines, and were trying to keep those machines as fine-tuned as possible. So I think Summer Skin is a great way to show that off, the ECW Diva said. We wear some revealing clothes here at WWE, from open-sided pants, to sparkle bras and bikinis, but theyre done in a rough-and-tough, no nonsense type of way, said the Extreme Diva. So its nice to take a step back and show the sensual sides of us that accentuate the real femininity that comes from within us in Summer Skin. Check out Summer Skin now and all summer long! The exclusive WWE.com series kicks off today with Michelle McCool. Divas Do The Fourth Happy Independence Day! This Fourth of July, many of the Divas will be enjoying some rest and relaxation, including Maria, who is already soaking up the West Coast rays. Ill be in Los Angeles, having a cookout during the day, lying out in the sun. Then that night Im going to watch fireworks over the ocean. Hopefully itll be beautiful. I cant wait to get back to Los Angeles and have some fun in the sun this week! Maria said. Victoria is headed home to Louisville to enjoy some of the local festivities of her hometown. Ill be partying like its 1999 if you kids dont remember, that was the Prince-era, she laughed. I will be home, and of course, tuning into SmackDown. But after that, Im going to make some fireworks, baby. What a romantic evening with SmackDown, you get to see Victoria on the air. That right there should just put you in the mood. So fireworks will be made for sure that night! Finally, Maryse told Diva Dish she was sad to miss Canada Day this week while traveling with WWE. But fear not the Diva doesnt need a reason to party. It stinks because Im in the United States. Im French Canadian, so I dont really care about the Fourth of July. Ive never really partied for that, the sassy SmackDown Diva said. I dont need the Fourth of July to party, nor do I need the First of July Canada Day to party. Every night if I go out or organize a party because I love doing that its a blast. As for Independence Day, SmackDowns beauty with a French accent has no problem admitting the American holiday isnt exactly her favorite. Independence Day the only thing Ive enjoyed about that is the movie. Thats why I know theres a Fourth of July in the States, because if it wasnt for that movie, I wouldnt know about it! she hissed.
